The Company

Overlooking the Piazza della Repubblica, the Hotel Principe di Savoia is a luxury 5 -star home for international travellers since the ’20s. This hotel, a luxury icon, expresses a vocation for excellence and innovation, and a dedication to developing its individuality and its own tradition. It is easily accessible from all parts of the city, within walking distance of major tourist attractions and shopping streets. The hotel offers 301 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, a Spa Club and11 well equipped meeting rooms for corporate events. The Hotel also offers the services necessary to organize weddings in the heart of the city. In 2003 the Dorchester Collection, a subsidiary of The Brunei Investment Agency, became the owner of the hotel.


The Challenge

In 2007 the HR department of the Hotel needed to streamline its recruiting activities and create a career site that was perfectly in line with the look and feel of the main website. They also required a platform that allow them to speed up and simplify the recruiting process.


The Solution

Altamira created the career site with the exact look and feel of the main web site. The back office platform streamlined the process of managing recruiting projects by mimicking the approach used on paper whilst delivering the advantages offered by computers: tracking of activities, information sharing inside the Human Resources department and the hotel’s managers and a better and more efficient communication with candidates.
