Communicating with other platforms
Altamira Employee lets you exchange data with other platforms and can act as a master database, a slave database or it can act in a mixed mode capacity
Altamira Employees is interoperable with other applications, both for importing data into the platform and for exporting it to other platforms. Altamira Employees can be configured as the primary source of HR data in the organization (in the role of HR database master) or as a user of information from other platforms or in a mixed role. This flexibility lets you deploy Altamira HRM in a large number of different scenarios and guarantees you will not find yourself locked in to or constrained by Altamira Employees when your business needs evolve.
The typical data exchange scenario for Altamira Employees is with payroll platforms. Integrating pay slip information into Altamira Employees gives organizations a highly informative union of compensation data with the rich information set available in Altamira Employees. Another common scenario is when compensation changes are made in Altamira Employees (manually or in combination with Altamira Budgeting) and are transferred to payroll.
The preferred data exchange format is XML, but with the use of XSLT transformations, Altamira Employees can be made to communicate with other platforms with little or no effort in modifying the native exchange formats.
Summing up, with Altamira Employees you can:
- Integrate with other programs such as payroll for transfer of pay slips
- Make use of a flexible data exchange technology based on standards compliant XML for easy integration with other platforms
- guarantee easy change management when IT / HR business strategies evolve
