An HRM suite makes a real difference when it helps you understand your people better, develop their skills and see who to bet on.
Today, Altamira gives you two new tools to do just that.
9-box grid: performance and potential on a single map
The 9-box grid is the latest talent management and evaluation tool to join Altamira Performance.
It’s a simple yet structured system. Each employee is evaluated on two distinct, complementary dimensions. Performance is the results they achieve in their current role today. Potential is their ability to grow and take on greater responsibility in the future. Just choose a low, medium or high level for each, and the person instantly finds their place in the matrix. Performance and potential scores can also be carried over from other evaluation processes.
In Altamira, you create a dedicated project, customize the workflow and choose who to involve. If you like, you can add a final step where managers set development actions for each person, such as training initiatives or coaching.
Once all evaluations are in, the system aggregates them automatically and generates an overall map. It’s a visual snapshot of the entire team that shows at a glance who is ready for more responsibility, who needs support, and which employees have the potential to grow but aren’t yet delivering their full value. And if any evaluations are missing, the map flags them and takes you straight to completing them.
Finally, dedicated reports group people by profile: top talent, high performers, core players, future stars and more.
So when a new position opens up, you already know if someone is ready to take on the challenge.

Create, send and analyze tests and surveys
Altamira HRM gives you a wealth of information about your employees: who’s at work, which devices they’ve been assigned, what training they’re taking and how their evaluations are progressing.
But some information you can only get by asking.
That’s why you can now also use Altamira to create quizzes and surveys to send to candidates and employees.
You can build a survey with different question types: single or multiple choice, rating scales, yes/no, open-ended answers, rankings and more. Recipients fill it in via a link, and once they’re done, the results flow back into the platform. HR can review them in aggregate through reports and charts, or in detail by opening each individual response.
You can create skills tests, climate surveys, satisfaction questionnaires and more, digitizing the quizzes you already use or building new ones. The tool is flexible and adapts to your needs.
This feature is available in Altamira Recruiting, Altamira Employees, Altamira Learning and Altamira Performance.
